Mana Infusion is the second coffee I've tried from Brez, and they're two for two! As before, I used a 1:15 ratio at 195F. I tried the Aeropress first, which yielded a very strong caramel flavor; this method was rather sweet even with no additives, with just a bit of a tart finish. The French press meanwhile yielded very little of the component flavors when first brewed but mellowed to a pleasant hazelnut. The two pour-over methods were the winners: Mana Infusion handled an edge pour much better than Holy Grail, with a very good blend of the component flavors with a tart undertone and strong caramel finish, with the chocolate getting stronger over time. Finally, the center pour gave a dark chocolate taste with caramel undertones, with just a bit of hazelnut in the finish. The center pour was also the sweetest, with very little of the tart flavor. Overall a beautiful blend that works well with all the methods tried!
